DESCRIPTION:Pass the Mic is a regional poetry tour featuring the Ripe Poetry team\, a local spotlight\, and an open mic to highlight other local artists. \n\n\n\n\nJoin us on Sunday\, September 13th for an afternoon of spoken word poetry. The night begins with an open mic for other local artists to join the list\, followed by our local spotlight artist SCVRR\, and concludes with a Featured Poetry Set featuring the Ripe Poetry Team. \nThe event will take place at East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church in East Stroudsburg\, PA. Doors open at 2:30 PM. The event is completely free to attend but guests can support the artists through purchasing a “But The Poets Aint’ Free” donation-based ticket or by donating directly to our non-profit through the Ripe Creatives website. \nAbout the Tour: \nThe Ripe Poetry team of Greg Snow\, Sergine\, AVG\, Jake Doggett\, MissSpoken Poet\, & Scott Smith are joining forces to put together their second “Pass The Mic” Ripe poetry tour. The goal is not only to “pass the mic” to one another but also to you as the audience. \nCollectively the individuals within the Ripe Poetry team have performed over 300 times nationally on platforms including Voices In Power\, BusBoys and Poets\, Write About Now\, WEGOLIVE\, Words Wings and Wine\, the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and ORACLES.
