Community Meal
The ESUMC soup kitchen has grown beyond simply serving a meal as a Soup Kitchen to developing richer relationships with our guests as we host a community meal. This has taken outstanding collaboration within our congregation, the local business community, and other churches.
East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church has been called a “safe place” as we have all learned to develop mutual trust. Everyone is important to keeping a community alive and well. If you would like to help in any way, please contact Ana Price at (570)460-8423 or call the church office.
This community outreach provides a meal, clothing, and support to those in need and is open on holidays when other local soup kitchens are closed.

5:30 PM to 7:30 pm most Fourth Fridays
Fourth Friday Fun
Fourth Friday Fun is both a place for the congregation to gather for fun and fellowship as well as a place for our community to come and check us out. Each Fourth Friday event has its own theme and activity along with a hearty meal for all to enjoy. Activities range from a faith-based movie to craft projects to games for all ages. Running from 5:30 to 7:30 pm most Fourth Fridays also include some sort of refreshment or family-friendly meal.
